Product Description:

This flexible acrylic wall coating is used for decorative covering of exterior and interior walls in private and public buildings; it gives walls a warm and natural appearance; it is highly resistant to damage caused by extreme weather conditions; it seals the building to prevent water from penetrating but also “breathes” (is permeable to water vapor); it conceals cracks and other visible defects.

Typical uses:

For newly plastered walls, new and old painted walls, over smooth concrete surfaces, concrete slabs, dry wall, magnesium dioxide board or any other wall finish, provided proper preparation had been done.

Surface Preparation:

Particles and dust should be brushed off the plaster surface with a street broom. You can also wash the wall with water but then it must normally be left to dry for 24-48 hours depending on weather conditions (or as long as required). Remove old paint flakes and any protrusions such as nails or wire. Ensure that the wall is sealed so that no water, either from rain or ground leakage, can penetrate. Only once the wall is cleaned and smoothed-over is it ready for plaster application.

Application:

Put on one coat of suitable primer as recommended by a qualified artisan. Wait for at least 6 hours for the primer to thoroughly dry. Apply a coat of flexible plaster uniformally using a metal trowel, and then scrape in circular motions (or any desired pattern) with a plastic trowel until the desired pattern/texture is obtained.

Clean-Up: Clean the tools with water and soap immediately after use.

Colour shades: the Regaia 1500 colour shades catalog.

Contains: water-based acrylic mixture aggregate.

Dilution: Ready for use, can dilute with 7% water (roughly 1 litre per bucket).

Density: 1.43 gr/cm3 for M0, M100, M200, M300.

1.51 gr/cm3 for M30.

Packaging: 20Kg for M0; 26Kg for M30; 24Kg for M100,M200,M300.

Shelf-life & Storage: 12 months in an original closed bucket in a cool, dry place.

The coverage capability is calculated according to the work of a skilled labourer on a surface with an ordinary degree of absorption and may vary according to the working method, surface and weather conditions.

Limitations:

Do not apply the material when the temperature is below 7°C. Do not apply if rain is to be expected within 72 hours.

Dry-time: Dry-to-touch: 3-4 hours. Full cure: 72 hours.

Finish: Mat.

Health and Safety Precautions:

This material does not contain lead. During application it is advisable to wear goggles and ensure that the site is adequately ventilated. If the plaster comes in contact with the eyes, rinse well under running water and seek medical assistance. Keep the package tightly closed. Do not hang on the handle. Keep away from children. Do not mix with materials not recommended by Regaia.
